897 – La Valldora (Navès, el Solsonès): according to legend, the Frankish king draws the four fingers of the Catalan flag using the blood of Guifré el Pilós, who was on his deathbed.
1137 – Barbastre, (KIngdom of Aragon): Ramon Berenguer IV, Count of Barcelona, signs with Ramir II, King of Aragon, the marriage commitment with his daughter Peronella.
1713 – Caldes d’Estrac (el Maresme): the cavalry of General Rafael Nebot beats Felipe V’s troops.

1913 – Sabadell: Lluís Mimó i Espinalt, Catalan supporter of Esperanto, POUM member and concentration camp victim.
1947 – Lleida: Jaume Manel Oronich i Miravet, Catalan politician known for having been paer en cap of Lleida (CDC) between 1987 and 1989.
1995 – Cardona: Pere Marsinyach Torrico, artistic skater.
